Welcome back to our New Music Round Up, our final edition for the month of March.

This week saw the beginning of #SM3 – that’s right, Shawn Mendes is back! The singer dropped two new tracks, ‘In My Blood’ and ‘Lost in Japan’, taken from his forthcoming third studio album.

Panic! At The Disco also dropped two new tracks in the form of ‘Say Amen (Saturday Night)’ and ‘(Fuck A) Silver Lining’, whilst Charlie Puth released ‘Change’ featuring James Taylor, another track from his forthcoming album Voicenotes.

Other new material came from the likes of Picture This, Trixie Mattel, Shangela, Ashley JMonsta XNadine, Tony Valor and 4th Impact, The Faim, The Funk Hunters, Thandie Phoenix, Greyson Chance x Rehab, and Felix Cartal & Iselin.

David Guetta and Sia – ‘Flames’

David Guetta and Sia sure know how to pull off incredible collaborations. After releasing the likes of ‘Helium’, ‘She Wolf’, ‘Bang My Head’, and of course the 2011 smash ‘Titanium’, the pair have teamed up once more to release ‘Flames’. The track is a little more laid back than what we’ve heard from the pair in the past, however, the track oozes David’s slick production and shows off Sia’s powerhouse vocals perfectly. We definitely think they have another hit on their hands.

George Ezra – Staying at Tamara’s

Staying at Tamara’s is the sophomore album from George Ezra, following up from his debut smash Wanted on Voyage. The 11-track album includes the previously released ‘Don’t Matter Now’, ‘Paradise’, ‘Pretty Shining People’ and ‘Hold My Girl’. As it stands, it looks extremely likely that George will bag himself a second number one album in the UK as he looks set to end The Greatest Showman’s 11 week reign at the top.

BB Diamond – ‘Man or a Monster’

After spending the last 12 months in the studio collaborating with the likes of DJ Fresh and 99 Souls, the incredible BB Diamond is back with her slick new single ‘Man or a Monster’. The track shows an incredible growth in the songstress’ sound which we’re totally here for. Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, BB said: “‘Man or a Monster’ is a F.U to all those serial relationship cheaters and deceivers. In any relationship there is the good and bad, but when it all turns ugly, that’s when you need to get the hell out of there!”

Marian Hill – ‘Differently’

Duo Marian Hill, made up of Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd, have debuted a brand new track called ‘Differently’, taken from their forthcoming album Unusual which is due for release on May 11. Produced by Marian Hill and Boi-1da, ‘Differently’ is a hypnotic electro-pop bop which is one of ten final album tracks. Speaking about their forthcoming album, Jeremy said: “We made this album when ‘Down’ was having a moment, and we were reckoning with the fact that our music was now officially pop in the most literal sense. Our favorite pop songs have an intangible quality, something that sets them apart from just about anything else. And so, we pushed ourselves to make many, many unusual pop songs in different cities and tour buses, narrowed them down to a tight 10 and built a world for them to live in.”

Miguel – ‘Sky Walker’ Spanish Version

‘Sky Walker’ was the first single to be taken from Miguel’s latest album, War & Leisure’. Six months after the platinum-selling track’s release, the singer has given it a new lease of life by releasing a Spanish-language version of the track, the first of more to come. The Spanish version follows on from the release of ‘Remind Me To Forget’, Miguel’s collaboration with Kygo.

Luca Schreiner – ‘I Don’t Think About You’ Remix

German DJ Luca Schreiner has released his official remix of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘I Don’t Think About You’, taken from her most recent album Meaning of Life. The DJ has put his own unique spin on the song, adding an infectious beat to the powerful ballad. Keep your eyes peeled for our interview with Luca which is coming soon!

Hudson Taylor – Feel It Again EP

Hudson Taylor, made up of Alfie and Harry, have released a brand new EP titled Feel It Again. The five-track EP includes ‘Run With Me’, ‘Easy Baby’, ‘Travellin”, ‘Old Soul’ and ‘Feel It Again’ and is their first new music since the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album Singing For Strangers. Produced by Ryan Hadlock, Feel It Again sees the duo expanding their sound and musical palette, from the Ryan Adams-esque acoustic overtures of ‘Old Soul’ to the alt-country singalong ‘Travellin”.

Kieran Mercer – ‘Anarchy’

‘Anarchy’ is the new single from Kieran Mercer. Speaking about the track, he said: “I’m really excited to kick off my next chapter with ‘Anarchy’. I feel its the perfect introduction to the new direction i’m heading in with these songs. The lyrics really speak to what’s happening in the world today so I feel people won’t have a hard time connecting to it.” Kieran will be releasing a four-track EP titled Fools Gold later this year.

UNBLOOM – ‘Chances’

‘Chances’ is the powerful and personal new single from Canadian electronic artist UNBLOOM. Speaking about the track, he said: “2017 was my first year doing music full-time. In that same year, my father battled a life-threatening cellulitis infection. The two events converging made me realize that second chances are not guaranteed to anyone. Although my new song is a lament, it’s as much a call-to-action; to try and embrace what we are given and make the most of it. ‘Chances’ also deals with the millennial anxiety of fucking up the opportunities you earn, yet being afraid to fuck up the ones you don’t – a constant state of panic and inadequacy. I think a lot of rising musicians feel this way, too.”

Spencer Ludwig – ‘Just Wanna Dance’

‘Just Wanna Dance’ is the new single from the fashion-forward, musical maverick that is Spencer Ludwig. Combining a funky vibe with a dancefloor-ready trumpet hook, ‘Just Wanna Dance’ has an irresistible groove which will keep you dancing all night. Speaking about the track, Spencer said: “I want to give an edge to the trumpet in pop music like no one ever has. I’m not a trumpeter that writes songs though; I’m an artist who also plays the trumpet.”
